In todays video I went over the HP Spectre x360 7th gen Core i7 15-bl012dx 2 in 1 laptop (2017 model) after owning it for a month. This is HP's high end laptop. It has 16GB of Ram and the Nvidia GeForce 940MX graphics card with 2gb of dedicated video card. This has been an amazing laptop and the 4k display is gorgeous. It's a great looking laptop with the small bezels. I did run into 2 issues with both laptops.
I also spent some time drawing on this laptop and I really enjoyed the 15.6 inch 4K display as it gave me a lot of room to work with. I drew Goku super Saiyan blue and it came out pretty good. There is the jittery line problem when you try to draw slow lines which is common with the N-trig technology. It's good for note taking on One Note, but the 13.3" one would be more adequate to use on the small desks. This can very well be the best laptop to buy in 2017 at a reasonable price.
This laptop is not the best for 4k video editing because it has a dual core and not a quad core, but it still possible to edit a 5-7 minute video and export it at around 20-35 minutes. When exporting the fan kicks in but is not too loud. It does get warm close to the hinge, so I keep mine on a cooling pad.
The battery was impressive for a laptop with a 4K screen and the quick charge is amazing.
This laptop has a lot to offer to the average consumer and is more than enough to run adobe premier pro and Photoshop as well as AutoCAD.
The unboxing is from the 2nd unit I got after exchanging it for another one and took a while to arrive.
There is a student deal going on 100 dollars off / ends about 9/7.
