See my Acer Chromebook 11 Review here: the Asus Chromebook Flip Review here: more about ChromeOS here: Chromebook R 11 feels a little overpriced to me. At $279 it costs $100 more than the regular Acer Chromebook 11 that performs roughly the same (and on paper faster) than the R model. If you're not in need of a touch screen or tablet functionality, the regular model is a better deal.

It's also not as nice as the Asus Chromebook Flip, which was designed more as a 2-in-1 (vs. a laptop with 2-in1 functionality) that has better build quality and battery life and costs about the same.

All that said, it's still a good Chromebook. But others from Acer are a bit better.
