(CC) A "simple fix" video for devices that spend time IN YOUR POCKET. (NOTE! If you CAN'T HEAR this video, click on the "CC" option on your screen for English Captions that are Accurate!) Have your earbuds or headphones started "cutting out" on one or both sides? When you push or wiggle the earbud connector that goes into your device, does the sound start to work again? If it does, then this video could quite possibly help you. I will demonstrate a SAFE and SIMPLE fix that almost anyone can do WITHOUT TAKING ANYTHING APART! This video "could" apply to ANY DEVICE that uses earbuds or earphones (that does spend time in your pocket).
I will show my method of cleaning out a build-up of "compacted dust and debris" from the standard 3.5 mm audio port of my device. I pulled A LOT of dust/lint out.
NEW! If you have no lint or pocket fluff in your device, check out this video I made to diagnose AND repair BOTH the 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) stereo 3 conductor TRS and also the 4 conductor TRRS common in nearly ALL earbud configurations (including Android, IPhone and so on) . Here is the link NEVER EVER force, pry, or twist any object or tool in any way in any port of your device! PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to my warnings here, and in this video, as damage WILL result if you do not!
